Spending a ton of money on a two year olds birthday is ridiculous. So don't. We have been to countless parties for kids under three that MUST have cost thousands. Rented clowns, multi-tier cakes, face painters. When I was two, I had the neighborhood kids over for root beer floats and I had a blast.
So when it came time to throw my daughters party, I tried to keep it simple. My favorite parties include pizza...duh! So I decided to take my daughters friends to a local pizza parlor and have them make their own pizzas. HAVENT WE MADE ENOUGH OF THEIR MEALS FOR THEM?!
They had the best time. They rolled out the dough, put their own toppings on top and ate every bite. I had lollipops made as their gift and we had a perfect afternoon for about 100 bucks out the door. My daughter thought I was cool and so did my husband because he didn't have to spend tons of money! Happy day for all of us!
