The world is weird.
Focus on what matters.
When my baby comes into the room at midnight and can’t sleep because he’s having nightmares, you better believe I invite him to snuggle with me.
I don’t care if he is 9. He fell right asleep while I was holding him. It reminded me of all those sleepless nights I spent holding him, rocking him, walking him, bouncing him, just begging him to sleep as an infant (he was the super fussy twin and would only fall asleep for me).
Now he takes up half the bed.
There’s something about mom that makes you feel safe.
And I’ll do it until he stops asking 💕
Love and Hugs,
