For my son's 8th birthday I took him and 6 of his friends on a stadium tour of Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Denver, CO. I custom made t shirts for every boy. The kids were engaged the entire time. Their little faces lit up with every new thing they saw. You end the tour on the sidelines and it's magical. Then as a bonus we ran into the cheerleaders on our way out. Imagine the faces of seven boys high fiving professional sports cheerleaders. Priceless. I have tons more photos if interested. Also, this birthday outing was one of the least expensive birthday activities we've done. Stadium tours aren't expensive.
