Parents, you’ve got questions, we’ve got answers.

Or just as likely, we’ve got questions and you’ve got answers.

We went to the museum yesterday. I could feel eyes on us as we corralled our crew around the colorful Jim Henson exhibit. We played with puppets, snapped photos with Kermit, and signed the guest book (that took much longer than expected!)

I don't know what people think when they see us, but I feel the eyes. I catch the glances of strangers as my husband and I hurriedly exchange our toddlers because someone wants mommy right this second. I feel the eyes when crowds make way for our very large, and very empty stroller. No one is riding in it because all three babies want to be held at the same time.

I can't help but feel a little in the way, a little awkward, and a little apologetic when kids cry, run, and photo bomb someone's selfie. Some eyes smile, others stare. I feel the eyes all the same. In a museum with muppets on display, our family of five is also on display. Even though I feel the eyes, I feel the pride of having my hands full.

Hands full, heart full, everything full, and so very grateful.
