I don't know what it is about your thirties

— or maybe for you, it's your forties, fifties, or sixties —

that you just start to feel really freakin' sure of your generally insecure self.

You hit one of those aging milestones, and suddenly you’re like,

"This is me. I'm flawed, and I know it. I'm working on the bad things, I'm sticking like glue to good things, but I know I'm dang worthy, fantastic, and a steal of human if you're one of the lucky people or companies that catch and keep me in your net."

It's a totally different presenting attitude than the one you likely had in your twenties of

"Will they like me? I hope they like me. But what if they don't like me?"

Insert look of dread, nervous leg shaking, and nail-biting here.

Because once you hit whatever the sweet spot age is for you, your child-like view of the world as your adventure playground returns.

Your once suppressed innate instinct to do the things that make you happy even if it makes you look silly makes a comeback. You cease to mind how your actions look to others and only pay attention to how they make you feel. You trust yourself and the decisions you make and you try real hard to make the ones that feel right and fill you up.

If you’ve hit that sweet spot, lap it up and savor it.

If you haven’t yet, you’re gonna, so stay excited, ‘cause it’s delicious.
