Hey y'all, I have two daughters -- one is 12 and one is 14 -- and I watch them struggle so much with the labels often placed on girls, or trying to fit into "boxes" of who they think they should be. Then when they don't measure up they are heart-broken. And I'm so determined to help them grow into young women who don't measure their worth against worldly standards.
Anyway, I wrote a letter to my youngest about this and then turned it into a video. I thought I would share here in case there are other parents with daughter's fighting the same battle.
