Putting sunscreen on my 5-year-old is at times like chasing a greased pig. It is REALLY hard to apply appropriate sun protection when someone is thrashing around like a rabid animal.
We have a routine -- we have a "sunscreen step" -- he knows it's non-negotiable before we go outside. Some days it goes perfectly smoothly, and other days it's a huge battle.
If you've BTDT, what worked?
Seriously this kid wants to be outside playing 24-7... which is good... as long as he has sunscreen on!
