The real test was when my husband's family business had no work for just over a year. Did we starve? Nope. Did we cut back? No. If fact, we went on two vacations, one of them being a 7-day Norwegian cruise and the other was a 10-day vacation at a cabin to a remote island with only one convenience store that had one gas pump!

So you're probably wondering how I made this happen.

Let go back a bit...I'm a certified secondary biology teacher, but in order to home school my 7th grader, I work from home. I teach Chinese students how to speak English online, Monday through Friday. I get to choose my own hours and how much or how little I work. I've been teaching with VIPKid for over 2 years and I now make $22 an hour.

Earlier this year, I learned about a home based travel business opportunity through another VIPKid teacher. Our family loves to travel and we're Disney addicts, so becoming a home based full-service travel agent with Inteletravel was a no-brainer. I immediately earned my certification through Disney. Along with that, comes incredible agent perks, like getting into Disney for free!

I'm generating enough money from my travel business to cut back on my teaching hours.

Earning money from home is possible. Working from home gives me the flexibility that I need to be there for my girls, to earn as much or as little as I want, to take vacations or time off when ever needed, to have the life that I want with my family.
