When I was 3, I danced for 2 years. When my youngest was 6, I took a chance and reclaimed my dream of dancing ballet. That was 2003. I am a dancer.

When I was 25, I dropped out of college to get married and have my daughter. I was 6 classes from earning my Bachelor's. 21 years later, I received my BA in Business Studies. I am a college graduate.

When I was in High School, senior year, I finally attempted to audition for the play. I was told, "With training, you'd have a good voice". At 35, I found my place on stage again and have been in many shows. I am a actor.

When I married, I knew my husband had a rare genetic disease, Porphyria. I sat countless, sleepless nights taking care of him through his attacks and countless days by his hospital bedside, making sure he received the care he needed, educating the nurses and doctors about Porphyria. I created a support group that has over 1,300 members from all over the globe, helping those suffering, and their love ones, navigate the emotional and physical confusion of Porphyria. I am a caregiver, a support person.

Last December, my father passed away from complications due to cancer. My mother was devastated. Every week since, I visit her and we talk about how she is dealing with everything. I have 2 girls, 20 & 17. I am their mom, but they are my best friends. I have helped them through many bouts of depression, anxiety, borderline addiction. I am a therapist (not professional, just family).

I have passion for photography and I have been taking pictures of family, events, nature for over 30 years. I am a photographer.

I am many more things: artist, philosopher, writer, organizer, management. But most of all, I am a MOM, and that is who I am meant to be. The rest has helped me to become what I need to be at this point in my life, and I wouldn't trade any of it.
