I've found myself praying A LOT these last few days.
For my family and our safety and health.
For my friends and theirs.
For the mental health of everyone across the globe.
For my grandparents.
For those fighting any illness.
For those who are fighting
with those they love,
or for their rights,
or against daily temptations.
For those who are fighting
against societal pressure,
their own insecurities,
or quite literally, for their life.
I've found myself praying A LOT these last few days, and with seemingly no end in sight to living in a
divided,
emotionally-charged-up,
pandemic-plagued world,
I feel I won't be stopping any time soon.
Whether or not you believe in the power of prayer, I ask you to believe in the power of
people,
positive thoughts,
and kindness.
If you won't pray for your neighbors, at least believe in them and take a second to let them know that you do.
If you won't pray for your neighbors, at least offer them empathy and grace.
If you won't pray for your neighbors, at minimum, exercise compassion towards them.
And, remember, we are all neighbors — now more than ever — today and always.
