Parents, you’ve got questions, we’ve got answers.

Or just as likely, we’ve got questions and you’ve got answers.

Parenting is hard.

Can I get an AMEN?

Being a man or woman, in today's world, trying to raise men or women, is a freakin' feat.

Can I get a HALLELUIAH?

Being a responsible, kind, productive, and contributing human and raising your children in a way that encourages them to grow into the same is a transformative undertaking.

CAN

I

GET

A

HIGH-FIVE?

Being and staying married is complicated and laborious.

Can I get a TRUTH?

Other-care is depleting, and self-care, well, it can be time-consuming.

Can I get a HECK YES?

And when all of this starts to feel like it's

“too much,"

and when I feel like I am

“not enough,”

or

that I can't make progress

or

that I'm getting it all wrong,

I go to the church of understanding.

I go to the church of non-judgment and acceptance.

I go to the church of real, where I can wear my struggles, admit that the constant grinding is exhausting and

NOT

BE

CHASTISED

for what sounds like complaining.

Not looked down upon.

Not scoffed at.

Not pitied.

Just related to.

Just seen and empathized with.

My name is Nicole and I go to the church of understanding, and I'd love it if you’d join me here.
