Parents, you’ve got questions, we’ve got answers.

Or just as likely, we’ve got questions and you’ve got answers.

I spoke to God tonight, and I told Him I made mistakes today.

I spoke to God tonight, and I told Him

I was ungrateful,

I had a bad attitude,

I was impatient,

I yelled,

I was distracted,

I ignored,

I lamented,

I critiqued,

I judged,

I frustrated ridiculously quickly,

I was snarky,

and I was disconnected.

I spoke to God today, and I laid it all out for Him.

And do you know what He said?

He said, "I love you, no matter what."

And when I asked Him

"Why?"

He said

"because you love yours no matter what."

And, at that moment, I realized that no matter my

daily,

weekly,

monthly,

yearly,

or life-long wrongs,

He's going to love me no matter what,

just as I'll do the same for my precious children.

We are far from perfect humans

-- adults and children alike --

but what couldn't be any more perfect is our ability and willingness to love "no matter what."
