I will never be the perfect mom.

I am a mom who gets frustrated when I should be more patient.
I am a mom who makes mistakes and then makes them again.
I am a mom who messes up ALL OF THE TIME.

I will never be the perfect mom.

I am a mom who has listened when I should have talked, talked when I should have listened, and made an already bad situation worse.
I am a mom who is frazzled, anxious, and overwhelmed more times than I can count.
I am a mom who doesn’t have all the answers.

I will never be the perfect mom.

I am an imperfect mom that will always go to bed praying I did right by my child.
I am an imperfect mom that will always show up.
I am an imperfect mom that always wears my heart on my sleeve.
I am an imperfect mom that loves my child with all my heart.
I am an imperfect mom who is full of flaws but will always keep trying.

I will never be a perfect mom.
And I wouldn’t change a thing.
