The fishing seasons in Sweden differs because this country is about 2,000 kilometres long with numerous climate zones. However, the fishing season for central Sweden is generally between April and November. In the Lapland, the most ideal fishing period is between May and October. Nevertheless, the crystal clear waters, many lakes and charming fjords make Sweden an ideal place for family holiday fishing.
Country stay is also a popular family holiday’s trend in Europe. In Sweden, you enjoy country stay with the options of self-catering and getting bed and breakfast. Ideally, country stay in Sweden provides a wholesome family holiday. It enables you to enjoy fresh farm produce such as eggs and other animal products. Nobody will bother you if you choose self-catering.
Skiing in Scotland - There have been significant improvements in snow conditions in Scotland. Even facilities in the ski centres have improved. The white Scotland slopes and ski centres in its highlands have given this country a reputation of being one of the best ski holiday destinations in the world. Ski slopes are open between December and late April. There are many ways of reaching the ski slopes in Scotland. These include flight, rail transport and bus services.

The Mlijet island National Park and Elaphiti shorelines in Dubrovnik are rich in nature’s variety and history. You will be amazed by the beauty of the pine forests, beaches, rocks, coves and caves. Explore all these as you sail on a yacht. Engage in sea activities like snorkelling, kayaking and swimming. Discover Dubrovnik more as well as the charming villages while sailing from the island. This adventure enables you to connect with culture and the country as you view the beauty of the region.
Coastal horse riding in Ireland - Trotting or galloping on a horseback along the beach as the waves crash is definitely an exhilarating experience. There are also farms by the sea that offer family holiday services. These services include professional help for intermediate horse riders and those aged from 12 years and above. You can ride every day, trek past lakes, historic houses, mountain backdrops and waterfalls.
Rock climbing in Spain - If you have kids who love climbing the wall back in your home, you should take them to Spain for a real thing. Costa Blanca has mountain crags and limestone cliffs by the sea which provide varied and perfect settings for learning. The Calpe beaches provide a great place for relaxing after climbing.
