Parents, you’ve got questions, we’ve got answers.

Or just as likely, we’ve got questions and you’ve got answers.

If I told you to be patient.

If I told you to be kind.

What would you think of that?

Instead of rich.

Instead of successful.

If I told you to be love.

If I told you to simply "be."

Instead of feeding your ego.

Instead of feeding the ego of others.

Would think I was naive?

Maybe even dumb?

If I told you to value relationships.

If I told you to make the most of time.

Instead of work.

Instead of rigid schedules.

Would you?

Could you?

If I told you not to judge.

If I told you to let go of any grudges.

Instead of critiquing.

Instead of resenting.

Instead of lamenting.

What would you think of that?

If I told you to be silly.

If I told you to be fearless.

Instead of always being so serious.

Instead of draping yourself in anxiety.

Is that even something you can control?

If I told you to have faith.

If I told you to trust your journey.

Would you welcome the adventure?

Would you accept each day as it comes?

If I told you that people are worth more than property.

If I told you that your peace is worth the trouble you have to go through to find and maintain it.

Would you agree?

If I told you that you have one life and the most f*ckin fantastic thing you can do with yours is to

live it,

love it,

enjoy it,

learn from it,

grow from it,

and be grateful for it.

If I told you life is hard.

If I told you life is confusing.

Would you concur?

If I told you that are capable of doing hard things.

If I told you that pure beauty lies beneath the surface of the perplexity that is your day-to-day.

Would you believe me?

You should.

There's so much more to life than feeling weighed down by the stress of it.

Figure out what makes you happy and do more of it.

Figure out who makes you happy and spend more time with them.

Decide who you want to be in this life and be that person.

Decide who you want to love and love them good.

If I told you that's the key to happiness.

Would you use it to unlock the door to a more purposeful, joyful, and fufilling future?

I hope to see you on the other side.
