I created Babies at the Barre™ so I could workout while keeping my son close. When we are done with the standing portion I use him as a weight and have him run around, play, and get lots of love while I finish my workout!

Tori Levine, Babies at the Barre"

As a certified pre/postnatal fitness educator, Tori Levine developed Babies at the Barre™ method to get moms back in shape by regaining core strength without damaging their healing bodies. Weak muscles from pregnancy, childbirth, and caring for baby, which lead to pain and poor posture, are the focus of the Babies at the Barre™ method. Moms get a great workout without having to pay for a sitter and leave with their new mommy BFF! Clients rave “…class is a great way for moms to exercise while bonding with their baby….”
Tori grew up dancing in a pre-professional company and attended the prestigious SUNY Purchase College for dance. As part of her dance training, Tori was introduced to Pilates. After her second hip surgery, Tori took a break from dance and later earned her BA in Psychology and MS in Criminal Justice.
After the birth of her son in June 2014, Tori wanted to be able to work doing something she loved part-time while staying home with her son. She completed certification in barre method and has completed the coursework segment to become a pilates instructor. She began teaching “mommy and me” style barre classes since her son was young and went pretty much everywhere with her. Not long after, Babies at the Barre™ was born!
Tori lives in Pennsylvania with her husband, son, and dog. When she’s not helping new moms regain strength or creating great workouts moms can complete with baby, you can find her at home with her son or at a local playgroup/activity. Tori has been featured on the Bent on Better podcast, Mending the Piggy Bank blog, and on The Baby Spot. She has presented at the Pinnacle Health New Moms Network and will be presenting in May 2016 at MommyCon WEAR and July 2016 at the International Babywearing Conference.
