It's a good day to have a good day even if this day will look nothing like you ever would have expected, but will feel like everyday before it for the past few weeks now.
It's a good to have have a good day even if you're
tired,
scared,
physically worn down,
emotionally fragile,
overwhelmed,
anxious,
confused,
sad,
or just "over it."
It's a good day to have a good day because today is the day we've got, and if this whole mess has taught us anything, it's got to be that a familiar tomorrow or a tomorrow at all, well, it's not a guarantee.
It's a good day to wake up grateful and set intentions. These don't need to be grand. You don't have to expect more from yourself, spouse, children, moments with them, or from your job than you feel you are capable of giving.
Just give little bits at a time, and that will surely be enough.
A little grace for all goes a long way.
So days faith, and so does acceptance; of your current circumstance and whoever you presently are today as the person in it.
It's a good day to have a good day, so why not try.
What's the worst that can happen? That you don't and you try again tomorrow.
Okay, that's okay, too.
It's a good day to have a good day, and it's a good day to understand that being okay is okay.
