Parents, you’ve got questions, we’ve got answers.

Or just as likely, we’ve got questions and you’ve got answers.

LET IT BE MESSY.

Not forever.

But for a little bit.

Because it's not forever that they will be little.

LET IT BE LOUD.

Not forever.

But for a little bit.

Because it's not forever that they will want, or it'll be permissible for them to be so loud.

LET IT BE HARD.

Not forever.

But for a little bit.

Because it's these everyday challenges that are shaping and strengthening you as a parent and as a human.

LET IT BE CONFUSING.

Not forever.

But for a little bit.

Because out of bewilderment, with time, comes clarity and new, more positive patterns.

LET IT BE TIRING.

Not forever.

But for a little bit.

Because most everything worth doing requires our effort and our energy.

LET IT BE MONOTONOUS.

Not forever.

But for a little bit.

Because I can all but guarantee you that "they" are right...one day, we will "miss this."

LET IT BE WHAT IT IS.

Forever.

Not just for a little bit.

Because what it is,

is the present,

and it's all we are promised.
