Our little girl was diagnosed with intrauterine growth restriction and a single umbilical artery when I was 28 weeks pregnant, and because her growth slowed she was delivered at 37 weeks. She was born at 3 pounds 14 ounces. She had an 11 day NICU stay, where we worked on feeding and gaining weight, maintaining her blood sugar, and decreasing her bilirubin level. Today she's a happy little 6 pound 8 ounce girl at 6 weeks old. We're so thankful for her health, and for the wonderful NICU team that helped us get to this point.
