Listed below are some of the most simple-to-follow and effective tips for healthy hair:

Rinse it with cold water

Way too simple yet effective solution for healthy hair. Rinsing them with cold water opens the pores and stimulates blood flow in your scalp.

Nutritious diet

A protein and vitamin rich diet is imperative for growth of healthy hair. Shilpa Aggarwal of Aastha Group says that it helps in making your hair stronger, shinier and less prone to fall off.

Aloe Vera juice

Widely-known for its medicinal properties, aloe vera juice offers immense benefits for skin and hair. Shilpa Aggarwal Aastha Group recommends massaging it on your scalp for stimulating hair growth.

Massage with coconut oil

Rich in various essential vitamins and fatty acids, coconut oil can do wonders to your hair. Apart from removing sebum build-up from hair follicles, it makes your hair grow faster, thicker and longer. Shilpa Aggarwal of Aastha Group recommends applying the oil once in a week for 30 minutes before shampoo, for best results.

Rinse with apple cider vinegar

Apple cider vinegar can be applied both as a pre-shampoo and post-shampoo treatment.Balancing the pH levels, it helps in preventing dandruff.

Regular Conditioning

Never miss out on conditioning your hair after every wash. However, it is important to note that conditioners are not meant for the scalp. Shilpa Aggarwal of Aastha Group recommends applying conditioner about 2 inches away from your scalp. Excessive conditioner on the scalp makes its oily. Also, it is advised to avoid the conditioners having silicones, sulfates, and alcohol content.

Be careful with wet hair

Brushing your hair when they are wet is one of the biggest causes of hair breakage. You should also avoid tying wet hair as it tends to increase the fiction.

Frequent brushing

A sure shot way to increase the luster of your hair, says Shilpa Aggarwal Aastha Group. Brushing helps in spreading the natural oils all over the length of your hair. But don’t overdo this. Also, it is recommended to use a wooden comb for better blood circulation.
