My husband and I are the parents of two wonderful teenagers who do not drive yet. We happily spend most of our evenings and weekends dropping off, picking up, and attending our kid's activities. Our kids are very social and are GREAT at signing themselves up for lots of fun events that they need rides to. Anyway, our secret to keeping love alive is to sneak in little inexpensive "dates" whenever we randomly find ourselves alone. We love going for coffee at our local art gallery and expresso bar (see photo) and going on walks. If we are not working in the concession stand at a soccer game or swim meet, we try to get in a little snuggle time in the stands (see photo). Our last secret is that we meet for lunch almost every Friday at our local deli. Since they have great Friday specials, we can usually afford to split a homemade dessert.
