Mama said there would be people like that -- people who bully.

But Mama also said that the world is full of other people -- those who don't.

Mama said there is a reason some are mean.

But Mama also said that reason is just one of the many why one should never reciprocate another's unkindness.

Mama said that the world is packed with "that kind."

But Mama also said that the world is swarming with the other kind -- the compassionate kind.

Mama said that if you want to change a person, you must be willing to help them.

But, Mama said that you can't help other people unless you listen to them first.

Mama said that listening to and empathizing with a person can prompt change within them.

And Mama says that changing a human can change the world (and you).

It makes it better.

It makes you better.

It makes them better.

Mama said it only takes one person.

Mama said that you are one person, and so am I.

Mama said there would be bullies.

But Mama said that with kind people in this world, loving, supporting, listening, empathizing, encouraging, and doing good, there will be a lot less.

It only takes one person and one nicety.

It only takes one person for another to find a reason to return to compassion.

Still, it only takes one person to break a heart or a spirit.

But, and never forget this --

it only takes one person to rebuild it.

Mama said there would be people like that -- people who bully.

But Mama said that the presence of those who don't will eventually decrease the rest.

Mama said there is so much good in this world, but only if we keep perpetuating it.
