Hi,
My name is Mary and my 18 year old daughter is Ava Baron. She is a senior at Chicopee Comprehensive High School. Like many other seniors she is grieving on missing out on the end of her senior year. She is sad she isn’t on the lacrosse field for one last season with her best girlfriends, celebrating another sports senior night ( she plays soccer too!) or having spirit week and winning as seniors! The possibility of Prom, Class Banquet and Graduation being cancelled wears heavily on her mind and heart. As parents we want nothing more than our child and her classmates to get this opportunity! It’s a moment in time that will never be able to be replaced. Ava has worked so hard the past 13 years to get where she is today. For her to possibly not get the chance to show off that diploma is heartbreaking for not only her but as her parents who are so incredibly proud of her! The tears keep flowing and the heartache is deep but I know will get through this difficult time together!
Thank you
Mary and Jim
