My parenting resolution is to give my kids more life and less grief.

I want to give them more new perspectives and less judgement.

And I want to give them more encouragement and less criticism.

This year, I want to give my kids more grace and less guilt.

I want to give my kids more forgiveness and less shame.

And I want to give my kids more freedom and less expectations.

This year, I want to give my kids more unconditional love and less records of wrongdoings.

I want to give my kids more joy and less negativity.

And I want to give my kids more gratitude and less entitlement.

This year, I want to give my kids more hope and less worry.

I want to give my kids more creativity and less rules.

And I want to give my kids more gentleness and less stern looks.

This year, I want to give my kids more imagination and less chores.

I want to give my kids more kindness and less punishment.

And I want to give my kids more of my present and less of my past.

This year, I want to give my kids more confidence and less self doubt.

I want to give my kids more curiosity and less entertainment.

I want to give my kids more patience and less urgency.

And I want to give my kids more adventures and less anxiety.
