There’s a story behind this green dress.

It hangs in my closet alongside my many shirts, sundresses and plethora of Harley-Davidson clothes.

Landon (4) walks into my closet and asks me to wear it almost every single day. I don’t know why. I don’t know his fascination with it. It hangs lower than the others maybe? But he always asks me to wear my green dress.

I love getting dressed up but usually don’t have a reason to. Not to mention the dress is a size 6 and let’s be honest...I’m not always a size 6.

This morning, as he usually does, he asked me to wear my green dress. I told him I would wear it to church. Then he picked out an outfit to match me and requested we take a photo together.

He asked me no less than 45 times as I was getting ready when I was putting the dress on. That is not an exaggeration.

So... that’s the story behind the green dress. And I know these pictures will be special to him. As they are to me.
