So a few years ago, I saw the idea of a "kindness calendar" for the month of December. I pretty much stole it from Pinterest and made it my own. I made sure to make age-appropriate things all of my kids can do and I took into account what days were busier for us and what days we had more time to focus on an in-depth task.

They love this holiday tradition! I'll never forget the first time we "candy cane bombed" a parking lot. They asked for DAYS... WEEKS later if we could please do it again. So maybe they weren't as stoked to pick up trash in rubber gloves in the dead of winter, but it still gave them a sense of accomplishment. They both love marking things off lists (just like mom!) so this is a great way to give them something to do that with and also instill a kind character. Eventually my hope is that we don't need a calendar and they just do things like this year-round! *fingers crossed*
Several people were asking about the calendar I used, so I'm happy to share it. Feel free to steal it and make it your own or simply print mine and use it for yourself. A little kindness goes a long way!
