My kids hates swimming lessons. Every tuesday we have a fight because he doesn't wanna go to his swimming lessons. What should I do as a parent? Well, that is the question I have asked myself the last couple of months.
I believe it is important to learn how to swim and it is an essential part of your childhood to do swimming lessons. We even have a goal so when he can swim 500 meters he can quit his swimming lessons - just like I did when I was a kid.
I've read countless posts on-line such as this from thoughtco where it discusses the reasons for quitting swimming lessons. Is this really true? I'm so in doubt.
For now I will force him to do swimming classes every tuesday, but perhaps you can change my mind?
Best wishes
