Just would like to give some advice which I have witnessed from hundreds of others who have had babies in my circle of friends. Since God has created us,He already knows our needs before we do. Praying for your child before and after they are born is of the utmost importance. When we have a child we get the perfect picture of God as our Father and the love He has for us. This relationship is unmatched by even the relationship we could have with our newborn. His love for us is multiplied to the umthteen power. The next step is to consult the One who created us and knows us intimately. Psalm 139 explains to us how He knit us together in our mother's womb. Proverbs is filled with wisdom on raising a child. There is no guarantee that your child will turn out perfect or even good. We all have a sin nature we are born with, yes even my cute little boy, when he is born, will be born a sinner. Don't believe me? Have you ever heard anyone say they are teaching their child to be bad? No, we must teach them to be good because they are born knowing to be bad.
Having those bad days, the bible is full of comfort even when we can't sleep and become frustrated, frazzled and ready to give up. Jesus said,"In this world you will have trouble, but I have overcome the world." Isaiah says, "I (God) will keep in perfect peace those whose mind is stayed upon Him."
I have seen and experienced the God of the bible continually in my life ever since He started a relationship with me through Jesus Christ 17 years ago. I have been reading and studying the bible ever since. If you have never read the bible and can't make an honest evaluation of what I say, then pick it up for yourself and read it. If you are experienced in your field of work and explained it to me,since I have never been involved in it, I would trust and believe what you are telling me is true and not dismiss your knowledge. I pray you would consider not dismissing my words as hearsay because someone who has never read the bible told you so.
