A little over a year ago, we brought our newborn son, Levi, home from the hospital. As new parents we wanted to keep a careful watch on him in his crib without having his crib in our room. When I placed my baby monitor 3 feet from the crib on a shelf I could not see Levi in all parts of the crib. I could only see a portion of the crib. I also didn’t want to put holes in my new nursery walls to mount the monitor closer to the crib.
