What little girl doesn't like to twirl around and dress up like a princess? Every little girl loves to dress up in high-heels, gloves, hats lipstick and pearls. The more, the better right? So while we love to see them get dressed up and play princess, they never really get a chance to go out dressed up. Lately, I see more places hosting events like a " Princess Ball Dance" but back when my little girl would dress up, there weren't many places to get dolled up and take her too.
I had stumbled upon this lovely tea house with a client and thought it would be a great place to celebrate her birthday. So I inquired about a party and the plan was set in motion. I told my little one of the place and immediately she loved the idea. "Hats?", she asked. Yes! I said, "Everyone needs a hat", and so, the favor would be the hat. Together, she and I picked out decor, planned the menu and games and prepared hats for her guests. Coincidentally, the hats we made, matched beautifully to each of her guests outfits. We had finger sandwiches, called each other " Darling" and "Dear". We wore pretty outfits, gloves, hats and some even spoke with a british accent. Her birthday is in July and planning her birthday parties are always great fun. We had many themes including a Luau and a carnival. This was by far one of her favorite parties.
