Parents, you’ve got questions, we’ve got answers.

Or just as likely, we’ve got questions and you’ve got answers.

I loved watching my child learn to tie his shoe on his own, I loved seeing him grasp solving equations, I loved watching him work through overwhelming emotions, I loved seeing him weather transitions that he didn’t ask for but had to endure….I loved seeing him grow.

The more he grew, the more I wanted to do all I could to help him reach his full potential.

The more he grew, the more I realized how he watched me as his blueprint on how to cope with life.

He looked to me for his example on how to cope with pressure, mistreatment and uncertainty.

When he doesn’t appear to be paying attention, he was still absorbing my every action, word & attitude towards whatever life threw our way.

He paid attention, He’s paying attention & because of that my faith is placed in the hands of the one who never fails.

There’s so much purpose that falls in our laps when we become parents and there’s so much purpose that fills our hearts when we take God’s hand.

We teach them how to weather life, not by being perfect, but by giving purpose to our actions daily.

The seeds we plant in our children will continue to grow long after we’re gone.

Just as life gets heavy for us, this world can send them into a whirlwind of stressful emotions as well.

We must teach them early what we learned late, so they can go further & make the changes that we couldn’t.

Our parenting styles may be different, but our mission should be the same…to give them the best of us, so that they can be their best.

Our hearts in human form, here to give us so much purpose & destined to change the world with their pure hearts, bright smiles and limitless imaginations.

Love Always, Teaira
