My 17 year old son shared this letter of appreciation with me that he sent to his Teacher. Teachers build Foundations for our children every day that make a difference for a lifetime!
Good evening Mr Schmit,
I haven't seen or talked to you for quite a while but I honestly really want to just say thank you. The preparation you gave my class and I back in the 7th and 8th grades has contributed enormously to my work at UHS. A significant portion of the material we have gone over can be easily traced back to what was gone over in your classes. As the AP exam draws near i have honestly never felt more prepared for an exam and i owe it largely to the foundation that you built. Im sure I'm not the only one who feels this way. If you continue to teach at Cyrils this following year i believe you will have the oldest of my 4 younger sisters in your class. Once again thank you for everything.
