Parents, you’ve got questions, we’ve got answers.

Or just as likely, we’ve got questions and you’ve got answers.

"You can share my blanket."

She tells me this every night.

Truthfully, it's more like she demands it.

And why shouldn't she?

Why shouldn't we all push others to "share our blanket"?

Here's what I'm getting at...

Every day, we have opportunities to selfishly and solely tend to our own needs or to share our warmth and deliver protection to others.

I hope you always choose the latter.

I hope, at every chance, you leap towards your neighbor in the name of comfort.

Let's cover those we love, we lead, we live beside, we call friends,
-- and yes, even those we barely or don't know --

in unconditional compassion.

Let's share with them our cloak of faith and let them adorn it for a while.

Let's drape them in confidence and assure them they've never looked better.

Let's snuggle up to the idea that as a person, the kindest, most transformation-prompting, selfless thing you can do (and keep doing), is to share your blanket.

Who can you warm up today?

Great.

Now do it again for every tomorrow in the foreseeable future.
