Parents, you’ve got questions, we’ve got answers.

Or just as likely, we’ve got questions and you’ve got answers.

The kids will be just fine.

I want you to know that.

I, myself, want to remember that.

That no matter how strange things get,

how long these stay-at-home orders are in place,

how many zooms we have to have,

how many movies we have to watch,

how much time we must be apart from those we love and care about,

how many feet we must keep between ourselves and others in the neighborhood,

how long we must remain at home,

and despite my lackluster teaching,

cooking,

and homecare-ing skills,

the kids will be just fine.

They are for the most part

amenable,

compliant,

cooperative,

understanding,

and there's no doubt they are resilient as hell.

Us, adults are another story, but I think with enough

memes,

alcohol,

cheat meals,

walks,

convos with friends and family,

television

and

music,

we will be just fine too.

(At least I hope so!)
