I'm a great mom because I truly treasure every moment with my babies.

We lost our first child, stillborn at 38 weeks. The heartache that followed is indescribable.

Next I had a baby boy, who is now 2.5. And after him a baby girl who is now 8 months.

Losing my first daughter has made me so much more grateful for my living babies. They are here. They are alive and happy and no matter how difficult they can be at times, I soak it all in and give thanks everyday. Even when I am running late for work, I sit down with each of them for an extra snuggle, a fun conversation, a quick song or game...because you never know what tomorrow will bring. I make an extra effort to be happy and patient and the best mom I can be for whatever time I am given with them.
