Today I’m taking a break from judging myself and deciding to love myself instead.

Today I’m taking a break from weighing myself on a scale, and instead, weighing myself in God’s eyes and focusing feeling light in my soul.

Today I’m taking a break from freaking out and making calm acceptance and a sense of humor my go-to.

Today I’m taking a break from feeling guilty about taking any breaks.

Today I’m taking break from rushing — rushing everyone everywhere - and I am intentionally slowing down with each moment, ensuring I am fully present inside of them.

Today I’m taking a break from cursing…‘cause even sailors get tired of hearing that ish.

Today I’m taking a break from overthinking ‘cause, really, I’ve never known and under thinker who wasn’t happy.

Today I’m taking a break from assessing - people and situations — and replacing it with accepting — all people and all situations.

Today I’m taking a break from all the things that are cynical and unhelpful and I’m treating myself to large glass of optimism and cheer.

Today I’m taking a break in form of a king-sized KitKat bar and

IM.
NOT.
GOING.
TO.
FEEL.
BAD.
ABOUT.
IT.

Not one bit.

Today I’m taking a break from being me…so that I can be a

better,

more self-aware,

other-centered,

balanced me.

Heck, I kinda like her. Maybe she’ll stick around.
