My 2 year 8 month old twins (boy/girl) have been moved from crib to twin beds. I keeping asking myself, if I should of taken baby steps, like maybe a toddler bed first? Well, let's just say last night was the first night in the past year that they did not cried when I put them to bed. They did not wake up in the middle of the night because they hit the side of the crib. Will this mean that they will finally sleep through the night? Am I going to be able to enjoy 8 hours of sleep? Was this move too premature? When my 6 year old was two years old, my husband and I transaction her to a full size bed and it went well. I feel like they were ready to move from crib to bed. You can see how happy and excited they were, when they saw their bed. Don't worry bed rails were added afterwards. As always safety first.
