Parents, you’ve got questions, we’ve got answers.

Or just as likely, we’ve got questions and you’ve got answers.

2020 was to be our year of celebrations. I beat breast cancer and had my last surgery in Feb 2020. Our daughter Madeline, who is also recently engaged, was supposed to walk in her graduation from the University of Alabama in May. Our son Grant is a senior in high school and was supposed to walk in his graduation in June. His college decision is difficult, as the scheduled trips to campuses that he was accepted to around the country have now been cancelled. It’s a story all too familiar with so many other families in our country. So we will continue to try to focus on the good, we are safe and healthy and that is what is most important. But it is disappointing as our kids have worked so hard and deserve a walk and celebration of their achievements. We will celebrate in other ways and not let this dampen the achievements.

So here’s to you both Madeline and Grant! We love you and are so proud of both of you! Class of 2020 will remember this year for many reasons, let it strengthen your spirit and your determination.
