What makes a good morning?

Not having to wake up to an early alarm?

Delicious hot coffee or tea, perhaps?

Well-behaved kids, of course.

Ooooo...a spicy Bloody Mary! Mmmm!

Good weather.

A set adventure for the day or even no plan at all.

It depends on the day, the person, and their mood, right?

But, what if all that is needed for a good morning is a great attitude?

An attitude of gratitude for waking up another day with the ability to rise from your cozy bed, inside of your love-filled home where you are blessed enough to reside with the people whom you love.

Sure, some things make mornings, and even days, better and easier, but the most straightforward, practically effortless way to have a good morning, is to have a positive attitude.

The older I get, the smarter I'm becoming, in that, I'm figuring out just how very little of anything else, outside of myself, my family, and my intention to live purposefully, joyfully and thankfully, that I need to have a good morning and a good life.
