Parents, you’ve got questions, we’ve got answers.

Or just as likely, we’ve got questions and you’ve got answers.

Working WHILE Momming: Month 13

This is 13-months of unexpectedly working from home.

This is 13-months of being a full time mom while being a full time employee.

Like, literally at the same time.

Yesterday, my daughter made a castle out of toilet paper while I was on a Zoom meeting.

I found toilet paper balls all over the entire house.

Thank God the Great TP shortage is over because otherwise we would be using balls of TP shoved in a random bag.

My kids think because I’m home that I am home for them.

I’m not sure how much longer I can nicely say “I’m technically working right now” to them. Without really, potentially, going clinically insane.

Today, my youngest fell asleep in the car after dropping a sibling off. I ran in to grab my laptop and air card.

I unbuckled the top buckle so she would be more comfortable.

And, this is where we’re going to sit. Hopefully, at least until my project is finished.

I’m not complaining. I know how “lucky” I am.

But, no working mom has ever been asked to do what we’re doing right now. And, that deserves some recognition. ❤️
