Don’t say you didn’t know, Don’t tell them you had to go
Don’t think this was a quick choice...
“No idea... She was a bitch and I just got sick of being treated like shit”
Say what you like but just know that you knew, You did then and you know you still do- Just like you did Every time she tried to talk to you...
Whatever it was, which meant more to you then, Be it drink, drugs or other women, you chose all those times, That you didn’t really want to be with your wife... If it wasn’t that and you are one of those rare other few, Perhaps it was the Xbox...that took her from you...
She stood at your door and she cried to you often, Please can this just stop - she would beg for you to soften.
But you ignored her. Over and over...
“I don’t know she just went crazy” Yes, stress got to her once she had all your babies.
The children got to an age where she realised her daughters Needed not to know a life like the one you had taught her,
So she chose to save herself from falling down any further- In hopes to save them from putting up with the same disaster.
She chose to make you go, Though she never wanted you to leave.
You made that choice all by yourself every time you chose to ignore her - Over and over.
