When my husband and I first started dating, he would never pass up an opportunity to watch the 2000 version of "Gone In 60 Seconds." Being a gear head and lover of muscle cars, it's by far one of his favorite movies and he would always watch it with eager anticipation for one specific scene. Every time that Memphis (Nicolas Cage) would lay eyes on his last steal of a Shelby GT500, named "Eleanor," I would watch my husband whisper, "There's my girl. Isn't she beautiful?" with his eyes glued to the television screen. He was in love with this classic muscle car.

One evening after we watched that scene together, he looked over at me and smirked, "You know, someday if I ever have a little girl, I want to name her 'Eleanor.'" Coincidentally, I already had my heart set on the name "Nora," so that was one thing that solidified our relationship early on.

In September of 2012 came the birth of our first child, a daughter. We named her Eleanor Sue. Eleanor after my husband's dream car, and Sue after both of our mothers. Our Nora was absolutely perfect in every way, our girl.

When Eleanor was about 3 months old, I was out in the kitchen doing the dishes after dinner when I heard the familiar sound of Nicolas Cage and Angelina Jolie plotting to steal 50 cars in 72 hours. As I heard my husband's favorite scene getting closer, I dried my hands off and walked out into the living room just in time to see the sleek silver paint job on the cursed Shelby GT500 and hear my husband whisper those words I had heard so many times, "There's my girl. Isn't she beautiful?"

But this time, this time his eyes weren't glued to the television screen. This time his eyes were locked with his daughter's — his precious Eleanor Sue. And I've never seen him more in love.
