I'm the mom of two teenage girls who was busy being a normal mom until my younger daughter was diagnosed with a rare cancer at the the age of four. So, since then, I've felt overwhelmed, grateful, blessed, angry and hopeful--sometimes all in one day. I've come to realize that my experiences haven't happened to me but for me. And that by sharing those experiences I can help others realize that I'm right here with them. Crying, laughing, and not wanting to go to a soccer game in the rain.
