My Mom is one of the most hilarious women I know. She is a retired school teacher, so spending that much time surrounded by first graders, you have to learn to laugh to survive! As a child, I often took myself too seriously. Actually, I probably took everything too seriously. Mom taught me how to laugh at myself, and to seek the joyful, laughable moments in each day. I treasure every crazy moment with her, and consider her my very best friend. I try to pass this same lesson on to my son. I want him to be happy and worry less about what the world says about him, and more about what happiness he can inject into the world.
