Everyone needs friends❤️
When it was time to leave the beach, he stayed back while I went to get the car, I figured he was watching the surfers but realized he was waiting for a group of kids that were leaving at the same time.
As they crossed the bridge he started walking with them, saying, “Hi Friends!!” , they were talking and laughing with each other and didn’t pay much mind to him.
He was so happy, waking with this group he called out to me, “mom! Take a picture!”
As soon as he reached the car all he wanted was for me to send these pics to his phone while talking about “the children” and asking , “the children are coming to my house?”
It’s crushing because it’s just so innocent and truthful.
It’s hard.
He may be Autistic but that’s the only difference, he needs and wants friends just like everyone else.
He’s been staring at these pics since we got home❤️😊 They may not know it but, they made a new friend today...They are “his friends”
