This is ten.

This is eyerolls and eating rolls.

This is questions and quips.

This is loving her mama one minute and loathing her in the next.

This is her exercising independence and me happily staking claim to her eternal dependence.
This is listening to her and relentlessly making sure she is listening to me.

This is being sassy. But for what reason? She doesn't really know.

This is sharing clothes and stories.

This is connecting and, occasionally, really connecting.

This is easy because loving her always is.

This is hard because watching her grow up most definitely is.

This is ten.

And I don't wanna miss a minute of it.
